Biography

Omeche Oko has become one of Nollywood’s most engaging rising talents. Originally from Benue State and raised in Jos alongside ten siblings, she earned a Zoology degree from the University of Jos before taking the bold leap into acting. After completing NYSC in Abuja, she moved to Lagos in 2018 with a dream and a script, facing auditions, financial pressure, and rejections head-on. Her breakout came in the short film The Broom and the Fly, earning her a nomination at the Realtime International Festival. Since then she’s appeared in over 30 productions—including Until You (2023), A Ride to Love (2024), and A Matter of Chance (2019)—across TV, film, stage, and commercials. In 2019 she launched Primech Studios, a production company dedicated to telling authentic Nigerian stories with high production quality. Beyond acting and producing, Omeche also thrives as a brand influencer on social platforms and was a contestant on Naijahoodrep in 2025. Driven, versatile, and grounded in her roots, she’s proving that determination and talent, backed by entrepreneurial grit, can elevate one from hopeful newcomer to household name in Nollywood.
