Biography

Patrick Onyeke, popularly known as Mr. Patrick, is a Nigerian comedian, actor, screenwriter, and social media personality based in the United States. Born to Igbo parents and raised in southwestern Nigeria, he rose to prominence through his viral comedy skits, most notably The Adventures of Mr. Patrick. He has performed on major comedy stages across Nigeria and internationally, including South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia, through his comedy show Jokes Apart. He has collaborated with top Nigerian comedians including AY, Basketmouth, Okey Bakassi, I Go Dye, and Acapella. As a writer, he wrote the comedy TV show The Place, which earned him a nomination for Best Comedy Writer at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. He has also featured in several Nollywood films. He married Tammy Patrick, an American accountant, at the Ikoyi Registry in 2016 and the couple are based in the United States.
