Biography
Sam Dede, born Samuel Dedetoku on November 17, 1965, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a distinguished Nollywood actor, director, politician, and educator. Originating from Rivers State, he pursued Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt. Dede's acting career commenced in 1995, with notable roles in films like Ijele and Issakaba, where he portrayed the iconic character Ebube. He has featured in over 350 films and received the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for The Mayors in 2005. Beyond acting, Dede serves as a lecturer and has held political positions, including Director-General of the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency
