In Mariya, he co-wrote the story alongside Mustapha Idris, with Ali Nuhu directing the film. Kanwar Dubarudu featured Sulaiman Alaka, Rabiu Daushe, and Rahama Sadau, and was directed by Kamal S. Alkali.
