Biography

Sarah Nuth is a British hairstylist and makeup artist recognised for her work in film and television. She earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Makeup and Hairstyling for Wicked (2024), where she served as key hair and makeup artist and key hair stylist, sharing the nomination with Frances Hannon and Laura Blount. Nuth’s career spans nearly 50 credits in the makeup department, with roles ranging from makeup and hair artist to supervisor on a variety of features and TV series. Her work includes contributions to Barbie (2023), ’71 (2014), Pan (2015) and A Small Light (2023), reflecting versatility across genres and production scales. She also received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Period and/or Character Hairstyling for her work on The Crown.
