Sebastian Ukwa is an award-winning Nigerian filmmaker, director, and cinematographer known for his socially impactful storytelling. Born on July 19, 1994, in Lagos, he studied Theatre, Film, and Carnival Studies at the University of Calabar. Ukwa founded Breadfruit Studios and has directed acclaimed works such as Tales of the Browbeaten (2022), which addresses child labor and abuse, earning multiple international awards, and A Father's Love (2024), exploring paternity fraud, which topped charts on Amazon Prime. His recent project, A Danfo Christmas (2024), continues his commitment to authentic narratives that resonate with audiences.
