Biography

Sola Kosoko-Abina (born January 7, 1980) is a renowned Nigerian actress and filmmaker active in Nollywood since the late 1990s. The daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, she studied Sociology at Olabisi Onabanjo University and began her career appearing in her father’s productions. Kosoko-Abina gained widespread recognition in movies like Omo Olorire, Láròdá òjò, and Oko Irese and has expanded her work to include producing and leading roles in films such as The Voice. She is married to Abiodun Abina and is a mother of three. Beyond acting, she advocates for child protection and speaks on social issues.
