Tara Lawall

Biography

Tara Lawall is an American creative leader, author and filmmaker based in New York. She serves as Chief Creative Officer of Rethink New York, where she guides creative teams and develops award-winning advertising and branded content. Over her career she has held senior creative roles at major agencies and won top industry honors at shows like Cannes, Clios, One Show and the Art Directors Club, and her work is part of the permanent advertising and editorial art collection at the Museum of Modern Art. Beyond her agency work, Tara has written about parenting and creativity for national lifestyle platforms and performs storytelling pieces in New York. She has published two books, one aimed at children and another in adult humor. Her screenwriting credits include co-writing Retirement Plan, an animated short celebrated on the festival circuit for its emotional depth and craft. Tara balances her creative leadership with family life in Brooklyn, where she lives with her husband and two children.
