Tatyana Belova is an accomplished Russian screenwriter and author, widely recognized for her significant contributions to modern Russian animation. She is perhaps best known for her creative partnership with director Denis Chernov, most notably as the co-creator and lead screenwriter for the award-winning animated feature "Finnick" (2022). Belova originally conceived the story as a book about a young girl and her invisible household spirit (domovoy), which later evolved into the international hit film and its subsequent TV series, "Detective Finnick." Her work is characterized by its ability to modernize traditional Slavic folklore, making it accessible and engaging for global family audiences. Belova has been a key creative figure within the Riki Group and Petersburg Animation Studio, contributing to major franchises like "Kikoriki" (Smeshariki) and its various spin-offs.
