Tayo Odueke is a Nigerian actress and producer born on February 21, 1976 in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. She studied Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan, and briefly at the University of Lagos before pursuing acting full-time. Her first film was “Hired Assassin,” but she rose to fame after producing and acting in the movie Sikiratu Sindodo. She’s known for her roles in many Yoruba- and English-language films, including Aye Olorogun, Baba Insurance, and Khadijat. A single mother to a daughter, she remains a prominent voice in Nollywood, outspoken about industry pay and passionate about her craft.
