Tendayi Nyeke

Biography

Tendayi Nyeke is a Zimbabwean-born producer, director, and writer whose work spans live-action and animation across Africa, Europe, and the U.S. She’s currently a co-producer at Netflix Feature Animation, developing her first animated feature. Previously, she served as supervising producer on Disney+’s Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, an award-winning African sci-fi anthology. With over a decade in live-action, Tendayi has written, directed, and produced projects that have been recognized globally. Her pilot Burns and Song premiered at the Chinese Theatre in 2024. She also founded Tenye Creates, a creative agency focused on diverse storytelling. Tendayi holds an MBA in Music and Creative Industries from Henley Business School. She’s passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and building creative communities.
