Tim Huebschle is a Namibian film director, screenwriter, and producer known for his compelling storytelling that often intertwines documentary and fictional elements to highlight social and cultural themes relevant to Namibia. Born in Reutlingen, Germany, in 1978, he moved to Namibia at a young age and pursued a BA in English and German Literature at the University of Cape Town. After gaining experience in Berlin, he returned to Namibia in 2003 to produce the documentary series Savanna Stories. In 2009, he co-founded Collective Productions Namibia, through which he has directed acclaimed works like Dead River (2012), Another Sunny Day (2017), and his debut feature film #LANDoftheBRAVEfilm (2019), which won Best Narrative Feature at the Silicon Valley African Film Festival
