Tony Akposheri is a Nigerian veteran actor, filmmaker, and media professional known for his contributions to early Nigerian television and Nollywood. He gained prominence for his role as “Zacky” in the iconic sitcom The New Masquerade, which remains one of Nigeria’s most influential TV shows. With decades of experience, he has worked across acting, directing, and production, helping shape the country’s entertainment industry. A former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, Akposheri is also recognized for his leadership and mentorship within the creative space, earning honors including a UN Ambassador of Peace title.
