Tusabe Ivan
Biography
Tusabe Ivan is a Ugandan filmmaker known for his work as a screenwriter, director, and producer. He gained recognition for his short film Jimbi (2024), which won the iKON Award for Best Short Film in 2025. Ivan's other notable projects include Scam Club and Cheza, both released in 2022. He is the creative director and cinematographer at Ewaka Cine Films, based in Kampala. Ivan honed his craft at the New York Film Academy and is an alumnus of the Multichoice Talent Factory. His work often explores themes rooted in Ugandan culture and storytelling.
