Ubaka Joseph Ugochukwu is a Nigerian award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, director, and editor whose work bridges African storytelling and global cinema He holds a Political Science degree from Ahmadu Bello University and trained in film at Dakar's Media Centre and Berlinale Talents His films include the shorts Trapped Dream (2009), Lilies of the Ghetto (2010), and features like The Missing God (2016) and Obidike (2022) The Missing God won the 2016 AMAA for Best African Language Film and featured internationally Ubaka is currently Chief Creative Officer at WeDiasporan, developing true cultural bridge-building projects
