Biography
Yemi 'Filmboy' Morafa is an acclaimed Nigerian director, writer, and cinematographer renowned for his non-linear storytelling and genre-defying narratives. A graduate of the University of Lagos and the National Film Institute in Jos, he transitioned from directing commercials to pioneering psychological dramas in Nollywood. His debut feature, Something Wicked (2017), introduced the psychodrama genre to Nigerian cinema. Morafa has directed notable works including The Grudge, Battleground, and the experimental short ENO. His upcoming film, The Guest, delves into themes of trust and betrayal.
