There is a quiet revolution brewing in African entertainment — not on the big screens, not on red carpets, but in the backend… where stories are either preserved or lost.
As PartyJollof Africa inches closer to its official launch, the platform is pulling back the curtain to introduce the minds building what could become Africa’s most structured digital home for film and television.
This is not just another media platform.
This is an attempt to solve a problem the industry has lived with for decades; poor documentation, fragmented discovery, and a lack of globally accessible data around African stories and creators.
At the center of this mission is a team that understands both the art and the architecture of storytelling.
Leading the charge is Peter Ayeni, a technology entrepreneur driven by a simple but powerful frustration: African stories exist, but they are difficult to find, track, and archive.
Inspired by Toni Morrison’s famous call to create what does not yet exist, Ayeni built PartyJollof Africa as a response to that gap.
With a background spanning computing, IT security, and business, and academic exposure from institutions in Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States, he is not just building a platform. He is attempting to lay the digital infrastructure for how African stories will be discovered in the future.
If Ayeni is building the engine, then Jemima Adelekan is helping the platform find its voice.
As Country Manager, Adelekan brings a multidisciplinary background that cuts across broadcasting, acting, and production. Her strength lies in translating creative ideas into content that connects; ensuring that the platform is not just functional, but culturally resonant.
Her role sits at a critical intersection: aligning storytelling with audience engagement, while strengthening industry relationships across regions.
The Mind Behind the Data and Narrative Flow
In an era where content is everywhere but clarity is rare, Henry Samson is shaping how PartyJollof Africa communicates.
As Manager of Data & Growth, he operates at the intersection of editorial storytelling and technical execution; developing features, managing content architecture, and ensuring that information on the platform is both accessible and engaging.
With skills ranging from writing and interviews to web development and WordPress, Samson represents a new kind of media professional, one equally comfortable with code and culture.
Holding the visual and narrative identity together is Emmanuel Oluyori, a seasoned creative with nearly a decade of cross-industry experience.
From finance and banking to media production, Oluyori’s journey reflects a deep understanding of both structure and storytelling. At PartyJollof Africa, he leads creative direction, overseeing content strategy, production quality, and brand consistency.
His ability to merge creative vision with technical precision ensures that the platform does not just inform, but also captivates.
More Than a Team ; A System in Motion
Collectively, the PartyJollof Africa team represents something larger than individual expertise. It is a convergence of technology, media, and cultural intelligence, all pointed at one goal:
To bring African film and television data under one roof.
As the platform prepares to go live, its ambition is clear; to create a system where African stories are not just consumed in the moment, but documented, searchable, and globally visible.
