Timini Egbuson is an award-winning actor, producer, and fan-favorite heartthrob. Often called Nollywood’s most handsome and best lover boy for his romantic roles, Timini has made a name for himself far beyond the charm he brings to screen.
A native of Bayelsa State, he studied Psychology at the University of Lagos before fully diving into Nollywood. His breakout came through MTV Shuga, which led to roles in major series like The Smart Money Woman, Tinsel, and Skinny Girl in Transit. He’s played memorable characters in hit films such as Dark Spotlight, Isoken, Elevator Baby, Introducing The Kujus, The Kujus Again, A Tribe Called Judah, Something Like Gold, Big Love, Fate of Alakada, Breaded Life, and many others. His strong on-screen chemistry with Bimbo Ademoye sparked dating rumors, though the two remain just close colleagues. Despite being the younger brother of actress Dakore Akande, Timini has carved his own path, with wins and nominations from AMVCA, The Future Awards Africa, Net Honours, and Best of Nollywood Awards.
In 2025, he debuted as a producer with Reel Love, a romantic drama starring himself, Bimbo Ademoye, Funke Akindele, and others. It premiered on Valentine’s Day and added another layer to his growing influence in the industry. Off-screen, Timini has also lent his voice to advocacy efforts, including a 60-part COVID-19 awareness series by MTV Shuga in 2020. From acting to producing, Timini continues to prove he’s more than a pretty face—he’s a powerhouse shaping Nollywood’s future.

Funke Akindele has once again proven her dominance in Nollywood, sweeping all major categories in the 2024 FilmOne box office rankings.
