Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known globally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer born on 16 July 1990 in Surulere, Lagos. He grew up in Ojuelegba and started making music early, singing in church and forming a small group with friends before he turned twelve. His passion pushed him into the studio as a teenager, where he developed the sound that would later define his career.
