Biography

Aisha Tisha Mohammed is a Nigerian actress, producer, filmmaker and former beauty queen. Born in Nasarawa State and raised in Gboko, Benue State, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, where she also pursued a master's degree in Industrial Sociology. A polyglot fluent in Tiv, Hausa and English, she began her entertainment career through modelling, with her first modelling job being with Vitafoam. She won the Face of Nasarawa State beauty pageant in 2007 and represented her state at Miss Tourism Nigeria the same year. In 2013 she competed in Miss Nigeria, finishing in the top ten, and was also crowned Miss NYSC Taraba. Her acting career began in 2012 with a role in a soap opera, after which she took a two-year break to complete her education before making a full return to Nollywood in 2014. That same year she founded Tisha Productions, a subsidiary of Tisha Integrated Services Limited. Her debut production, My Name is Kadi, received three nominations at the 2017 Hollywood African Prestigious Awards in California and won Most Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture. Her other productions include Let Karma and Almost Perfect. She has also featured in productions including Just the Two of Us, Diary of a Player, Filth, Colours of Deceit, A Dead Man's Souvenir and several others.
