Biography
Akari Kitō is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on October 16, 1994, in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. She began her career in 2014. Her agency is Raccoon Dog. She has become well known for her many roles in anime and video games. Among her most famous roles are Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Sakura Adachi in Adachi and Shimamura, Suzune Horikita in Classroom of the Elite, and Kotoko Iwanaga in In/Spectre. She also voices Kanata Konoe in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. As a singer, Akari released her first major single “Swinging Heart” in 2019 under the Pony Canyon label. Her debut album Style followed in 2020, along with other successful singles. She often performs songs for anime themes, which has helped grow her popularity. Her work is praised for its emotional expressiveness and clarity in characterization. Outside of voice‐acting and singing, she has been admired for her distinctive voice range and ability to bring characters to life in a way fans find both powerful and touching.
