Toshihiko Seki, born June 11, 1962 in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, is a Japanese actor, voice actor, singer, and narrator affiliated with 81 Produce. He has been active since the early 1980s, and is known for a versatile range of roles in anime, video games, and film. Some of his most memorable characters are Iruka Umino in Naruto, Duo Maxwell in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Rau Le Creuset and Rey Za Burrel in Gundam SEED / Gundam SEED Destiny, Kaien Shiba in Bleach, and Muzan Kibutsuji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Sometimes he voices calm, serious figures; other times deranged villains. His reputation for delivering intense, emotionally complex performance has earned him respect among fans and peers alike. In 2004, he was ranked 9th favorite voice actor in Animage magazine’s annual readers’ poll in part due to his role as Rau Le Creuset. By 2007 he already had over 200 roles to his credit, making him one of Japan’s more prolific male voice actors. He continues to take on diverse roles and remains an influential figure in the voice acting world.
