Biography
Akinlabi Ishola is a Nigerian screenwriter and filmmaker renowned for co-writing some of Nollywood's most commercially successful films. He co-wrote A Tribe Called Judah (2023), which became the first Nollywood film to gross over ₦1 billion at the Nigerian box office within weeks of its release . Ishola also co-wrote Everybody Loves Jenifa (2024), the third installment in the popular Jenifa franchise, which achieved similar box office success. Ishola's storytelling is characterized by its cultural resonance and emotional depth, contributing to narratives that reflect the complexities of Nigerian society.
