Biography
Collins Okoh is a Nigerian screenwriter and creative writer renowned for his contributions to Nollywood's contemporary cinema. He co-wrote the blockbuster A Tribe Called Judah (2023), which achieved significant box office success. Okoh also co-wrote Everybody Loves Jenifa (2024), the third installment in the popular Jenifa franchise, which grossed ₦1 billion within 19 days of release, becoming the fastest Nollywood title to reach this milestone. His earlier work includes co-writing Omo Ghetto: The Saga (2020), a gangster comedy that became the highest-grossing Nigerian film of that year. Okoh began his career writing for television, contributing to popular series such as Jenifa's Diary and My Siblings and I. Originally trained as a pharmacologist, Okoh transitioned into screenwriting, bringing a unique perspective to his storytelling. His work is characterized by compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Okoh continues to shape Nollywood's storytelling landscape through his innovative scripts and dedication to the craft.
