Biography
Collins Okoh is a Nigerian screenwriter and creative writer renowned for his contributions to Nollywood's contemporary cinema. He co-wrote the blockbuster A Tribe Called Judah (2023), which achieved significant box office success. Okoh also co-wrote Everybody Loves Jenifa (2024), the third installment in the popular Jenifa franchise, which grossed ₦1 billion within 19 days of release, becoming the fastest Nollywood title to reach this milestone. His earlier work includes co-writing Omo Ghetto: The Saga (2020), a gangster comedy that became the highest-grossing Nigerian film of that year. Okoh began his career writing for television, contributing to popular series such as Jenifa's Diary and My Siblings and I. Originally trained as a pharmacologist, Okoh transitioned into screenwriting, bringing a unique perspective to his storytelling. His work is characterized by compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
