Biography
Uzor Arukwe is a Nigerian actor from Nkwerre, Imo State. He attended Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Abia State University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration. Arukwe began his Nollywood career in 2014 with Unspoken Truth but gained recognition for his role as Inspector Sam in Sergeant Tutu. He further established his reputation with performances in Code Wilo, Smash, and Size 12, bagging two nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards. In 2021, he was nominated for Best Actor at the Best of Nollywood Awards for the movie Yours Regardless. His recent work includes roles in A Tribe Called Judah, What About Us, Thinline, and Love In Every Word. Arukwe is not just any actor but one that is dedicated to his craft and with him starring in diverse roles has made him a notable figure in Nollywood.
