Biography
Abdullateef Adetola Adedimeji, born on February 1, 1984, in Isolo, Lagos State, Nigeria, is a renowned actor and filmmaker. He hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, and is the fourth of six children. Lateef began his acting career in 2007 and gained prominence with his role in the 2013 film "Kudi Klepto," directed by Yewande Adekoya. Since then, he has featured in over 100 Nigerian films, including notable titles like "Jagun Jagun," "House of Ga'a," and "Breaded Life." In December 2021, Lateef married fellow actress Oyebade Adebimpe. The couple's traditional wedding took place in Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State, followed by a white wedding ceremony in Lagos. Lateef's contributions to the Nigerian film industry have earned him several awards, including the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Yoruba) at the 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards. He continues to be a prominent figure in Nollywood, known for his versatility and dedication to his craft.
