Biography
Kayode Kasumis a Nigerian film director and producer renowned for his innovative storytelling and major contributions to Nollywood. He started his career as a motion graphics designer at Wale Adenuga Productions before moving into full-time filmmaking. Kasum directed Nigeria's first live-action animated film, Dognapped (2017), and rose to prominence with Oga Bolaji (2018). His other notable works include Sugar Rush, This Lady Called Life, Kambili, Soole, and Netflix’s Far From Home. As of 2025, he is among Nigeria’s highest-grossing directors, with total box office earnings surpassing ₦767 million.
