Stephen Okonkwo is a Nigerian-American writer and filmmaker known for his compelling storytelling and nuanced narratives. His notable works include Ajosepo (2024), a comedy-drama that captivated audiences for four consecutive weeks as the highest-grossing film at the Nigerian box office . He has also contributed to Obara’m (2022), Soole (2021), and Honey Money (2023). Stephen's creative journey began during his time at American University in Washington, D.C., where he balanced his studies in Business Administration with a burgeoning music career. Under the stage name "Stephn," he released the visual project Time Before Us in 2019, which sold out its 150 tickets in under 30 minutes . His musical influences include D’Angelo, Frank Ocean, and Solange.
