Alice Felton is an award-winning set decorator known for her tactile, character-driven approach to production design. Her philosophy centers on making actors feel that their on-screen homes are "real spaces," often incorporating period-accurate textures and lighting. She began her career in the early 2000s working on music videos for artists like Madonna and the Chemical Brothers before transitioning into feature films. Her long-standing creative partnership with production designer Fiona Crombie has become one of the most respected in the industry. Together, they have defined the visual language of directors like Yorgos Lanthimos, Justin Kurzel, and Chloé Zhao. In 2025, Felton reached a new career peak with Hamnet, where she used reclaimed wood and hand-stitched fabrics to recreate a visceral, 16th-century Stratford-upon-Avon.
