Anthony Nwahiri is a Nigerian actor who has rapidly transitioned from supporting television roles to becoming one of Nollywood's most sought-after new talents. His career gained significant momentum in 2025 following his performance in Kemi Adetiba’s crime thriller series "To Kill A Monkey", where he starred alongside Bucci Franklin, and his role as Bomboy in the Africa Magic series "The Yard". In early 2026, Nwahiri is solidifying his place in the industry with a key role in "The Return of Arinzo", the star-studded sequel to Iyabo Ojo’s cult classic Arinzo. Slated for release later this year, the film features Nwahiri in an international ensemble cast that includes Tanzanian music star Juma Jux and Nollywood veteran Bimbo Akintola. His rise was formally recognized in November 2025 at the Great Excellence Movies Awards (GEMA) in Ghana, where he was named Most Promising Actor of the Year. In his acceptance speech, he cited his consistency and "grit" as the driving forces behind his breakthrough.
