Ayo Maff (born Ayorinde Mafoluku Ayodele) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has rapidly emerged as a powerful voice in the street-pop genre. Born and raised in the bustling Shomolu/Bariga area of Lagos, he made the difficult decision to leave home at the age of 16 to pursue music and change his family's fortunes. He gained mainstream recognition with his breakout single "Dealer", which featured YBNL star Fireboy DML. The song topped charts and introduced his soulful, gritty sound to a wider audience. Maff's music often reflects the harsh realities and hopes of youth in the "trenches." In August 2024, he released his debut extended play (EP) titled Maffian, solidifying his place as one of the most promising Gen Z talents in the Afrobeats scene.
