Chris Ihidero is a veteran Nigerian filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and educator. He holds degrees in Literature-in-English and began his career as a theatre artist, broadcaster and university lecturer before moving into film. Over the years, he has directed and written hundreds of hours of TV drama, including classic series such as Fuji House of Commotion, VIP, and Now We Are Married. He also directed acclaimed short films like Big Daddy, and has served as head writer on the TV drama Hush. Beyond making films, he founded a media-production company and launched training initiatives to build capacity in the industry. Through these, he mentors upcoming creators and helps expand storytelling and production standards in Nigerian cinema.
