Bola Edwards is a Nigerian actor, producer, director and social-entrepreneur. She studied Performing Arts at the University of Ilorin and also earned a diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Benin. She co-founded a creative arts company with her husband, aiming to celebrate African heritage through storytelling, music and theatre for children and families. Under that banner she created the character “Grandma Wura,” a beloved figure who delivers stories, values and cultural lessons — especially through performances and productions that target young audiences. Over the years she has used her platform not only to entertain but also to educate children about African culture, values and identity. Bola is married with children, and her work continues to influence the next generation while promoting pride in African heritage.
