Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, born on March 12, 1980, in Lagos State, Nigeria, is a renowned Nollywood actress, producer, and director. She began her acting career in 2000 with the film The Apple and has since appeared in over 350 movies. Chioma won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2007 for Sins of the Flesh and the Afro Hollywood Award in 2010. A graduate of Lagos State University with a degree in Banking and Finance, she is also the founder of "Masterclass With Chioma," a platform mentoring aspiring actors. Chioma is married to Franklyn Akpotha since 2006 and is a mother.
