Plot
Makemation is an inspiring coming-of-age drama about 17-year-old Zara Sodangi, a poor but brilliant girl from rural Lagos who earns a scholarship to the country’s most prestigious tech school. Despite financial struggles, social discrimination, and self-doubt, she is determined to win the top prize and lift her family out of poverty. With the guidance of a supportive mentor and her growing confidence in AI, data analytics, and product design, Zara faces numerous setbacks but must overcome her deepest fear—her lack of self-worth—to succeed.
