Tolu Obanro, professionally known as Tyanx, is a distinguished Nigerian film composer celebrated for his significant contributions to Nollywood's cinematic soundscapes. Initially working in the oil and gas sector, Tolu transitioned to music, producing for gospel artists like Mike Abdul, Kenny Kore, and Monique. His venture into film scoring began with the feature film Your Excellency in 2019. He has since composed scores for notable projects including King of Boys: The Return of the King, Prophetess, Jagun Jagun, and Gangs of Lagos. His work on A Tribe Called Judah is particularly noteworthy, as it became the first Nollywood movie to gross ₦1 billion at the box office. In 2022, Tolu received the Nigerians Achievers Award and has been nominated three times for the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) in the Best Soundtrack category.
