Nifemi Lawal is a Nigerian actor who began his career as a child performer, gaining recognition for his role as Ekene Ezeji in the award-winning film Strain (2020). The film, directed by Uduak-Obong Patrick, addresses the challenges of a family dealing with a child's sickle cell diagnosis and won the Best International Film award at the 2020 Urban Film Festival in Miami. Lawal continued to build his career with roles in notable Nigerian productions. In The Origin: Madam Koi-Koi (2023), he portrayed Junior Under The Bed, contributing to the film's exploration of urban legends. In Gangs of Lagos (2023), he played Young Ify, adding depth to the film's narrative on street life in Lagos.
