Craig Sheffer

Biography

Craig Eric Sheffer is an American actor known for his work in both film and television. He made his film breakthrough with Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) and gained critical acclaim as Norman Maclean in A River Runs Through It (1992). Sheffer also starred in Clive Barker’s horror film Nightbreed (1990) and played Joe Kane in The Program (1993). On TV, he’s widely remembered as Keith Scott in One Tree Hill (2003–2012). Before acting, he faced hardship—he was briefly homeless in New York. Beyond acting, he’s directed and written, including the feature American Crude.
