Danny Ross

Biography

Danny Ross (born 28 October 1986) is a South African actor, model, and voice artist. He first gained notice when he placed third in the SABC1 reality competition Class Act in 2010. He studied speech and drama at LAMDA and the South African Film Institute, and trained under Dorothy Ann Gould. In theatre, he’s performed in productions like Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Princess and the Pea. On screen, he has appeared in Swartwater, Number 37 (Nommer 37), Suidooster, Arendsvlei, Desert Rose, Frankie en Felipé, and Resident Evil. In recent interviews, he has spoken openly about mental health, trauma, and advocating for men’s emotional healing.
