Emmanuel Adejo, also known as Story Priest, is a Nigerian filmmaker, screenwriter, and director. He draws inspiration from global auteurs like Ousmane Sembène, Akira Kurosawa, Abbas Kiarostami, and Alejandro Iñárritu. With over 30 screenwriting credits for ROK Studios, African Movie Channel, and Africa Magic, his work often explores societal issues through a realistic lens. His directorial debut, "People's Court," was produced during his time at EbonyLife Creative Academy. He co-directed "On Our Skin," a short film addressing censorship and resistance, which premiered in December 2024. Adejo also co-directed "Everything Light Touches" (2025), further establishing his presence in Nollywood. His storytelling is characterized by a commitment to authenticity and a focus on the human experience.
