Eric Roberts, born April 18, 1956, in Biloxi, Mississippi, is an American actor with over 700 film and television credits. He gained early acclaim with roles in King of the Gypsies (1978), Star 80 (1983), and Runaway Train (1985), earning multiple Golden Globe nominations and an Academy Award nod. Despite personal struggles, including addiction and a serious car accident, Roberts maintained a prolific career, appearing in films like The Dark Knight and series such as Suits.
