Fabien Martorell is a French-born, Los Angeles-based director and producer known for his visually compelling and socially conscious films. After beginning his career in France, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he founded FM Pictures LLC in 2011. His notable works include the Netflix Original Collision, a drama-thriller shot in Johannesburg that gained international acclaim. His short films, such as The Coin and Unbelief, have been featured in major film festivals and have earned multiple awards and nominations. Martorell's documentary Tromatized: Meet Lloyd Kaufman won "Best Biographical Documentary" at the 2009 New York International Independent Film Festival. He is currently in post-production on The Guns Story, a documentary featuring Tracii Guns, Iggy Pop, and Lemmy Kilmister.
