Gabriel Leone

Biography

Gabriel Leone is an emerging international star and one of Brazil's most versatile leading men. He began his career in theater over a decade ago before rising to national prominence in the hit telenovela Verdades Secretas (2015). He transitioned into gritty, dramatic roles with the Amazon series Dom, where he played the real-life criminal Pedro Dom. Leone made a major international breakthrough in 2023 playing the Spanish aristocrat and racer Alfonso de Portago in Michael Mann’s Ferrari. In 2025, he returned to Brazilian cinema as a key cast member in Kleber Mendonça Filho’s neo-noir thriller The Secret Agent (O Agente Secreto), appearing at the Cannes Film Festival as the film competed for the Palme d'Or. In late 2024 and throughout 2025, he received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of the legendary Formula 1 icon Ayrton Senna in the Netflix miniseries Senna.
