Isaac C. Singleton Jr. is an American actor with a career defined by his commanding physical stature and distinctive deep voice. Born in Florida and raised in Germany (where his father was stationed), he began his career as a stunt performer in shows like The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular before moving to Los Angeles. He broke into mainstream cinema with roles in major blockbusters like Galaxy Quest, Planet of the Apes (2001), and most notably as the intimidating pirate Bo'sun in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Singleton is also a titan in the voice-over industry. He is the definitive voice of the villain Thanos for Marvel's animated universe (including Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers Assemble) and voices the iconic character Sagat in the Street Fighter video game franchise.
