Jeremy Spears is an American story artist and animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he has contributed to many celebrated animated films. His work includes story development and visual storytelling on projects such as Encanto, Moana, Zootopia, Frozen and Wish, where he helped shape memorable characters and scenes through animation and story art. Spears is an Annie Award winner, recognized by his peers for excellence in animation and storytelling craft. He also collaborates occasionally with Walt Disney Imagineering on creative work for themed attractions. Outside his studio work, he pursues personal art through illustration, design and woodworking, often creating original pieces in his workshop. Spears is also developing a new animated short film with fellow animator Nathan Engelhardt slated for release in 2025.
