Kathryn Fasegha is an award-winning Nigerian-Canadian filmmaker, writer, and actress with a career spanning over three decades. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts and an M.A. in Broadcasting, and is a trained journalist from the London School of Journalism. Her debut feature film, Treacherous Heart (2012), was screened across Canada and the U.S., earning the "Best Drama in Diaspora" award at NAFCA. Her second film, 2 Weeks in Lagos (2019), premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and later streamed on Netflix. Fasegha is also involved in drama evangelism and serves as the president of the Black Actors and Film Guild Canada, Alberta chapter.
