Biography
Sarah Inya Lawal is a Nigerian film producer renowned for her contributions to Nollywood. She co-produced the 2019 romantic comedy Two Weeks in Lagos, directed by Kathryn Fasegha, which premiered on October 10, 2019, and was screened worldwide. The film features actors such as Mawuli Gavor and Beverly Naya. Lawal also co-produced the 2017 Ghanaian-Nigerian romantic comedy Potato Potahto, directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso, which explores the complexities of divorce in West African society. The film stars OC Ukeje, Joselyn Dumas, and Joke Silva. Through her work, Lawal has played a significant role in bringing African narratives to a global audience.
