Laide Daramola, also known as Lady Laide, is a Nigerian-American filmmaker, screenwriter, and TV producer. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Middlesex University, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and a certificate in Non-profit Management & Leadership from Harvard University. She is the founder of Lady Laide Films, a production company dedicated to creating compelling content for African audiences globally. Her notable works include "Hotel Labamba" (2023), a crime comedy film, and "Aso Ebi Diaries" (2025), which explores themes of fashion and societal dynamics in Nigeria. Beyond filmmaking, Laide is a passionate advocate for children's health, focusing on blood diseases and cancer. She co-founded Master’s Touch (MsT), a U.S.-based humanitarian organization supporting hospitals and orphanages.
