Lorraine Tai is a British-Chinese actress and stunt performer whose background in physical performance has made her a recurring presence in major action franchises. Born in Hong Kong with Taiwanese, Malaysian, and Singaporean heritage, she trained in New York at Marymount Manhattan College before relocating to London. In 2026, she joins the DC Universe in the horror-thriller "Clayface" (September 2026). She is credited with the role of "Mother". Given the film's "body horror" tone and focus on the tragic psychology of Matt Hagen, industry observers speculate this could be a pivotal flashback role or a symbolic figure in the protagonist's descent into madness. This marks her second appearance in a Gotham City project, as she previously played Cheri (one of the "twins" in the Iceberg Lounge) in Matt Reeves' "The Batman" (2022).
