She’s best known for producing the feature film The Ceremony (2024), which received critical attention and award recognition, and for her work on acclaimed shorts such as Mary Anning, which was longlisted for a BAFTA. Meer also produced Predators (2023) and several other short films that have screened internationally, including Monochromatic and A Last Resort, reflecting her interest in bold, character-driven storytelling. Her training includes selection for major industry programmes like the BFI Producer Insight and Creative England’s Producer Hothouse, and she’s developed projects through the Edinburgh IFF Talent Lab and ScreenSkills Leadership programmes. She leads Strive Films, a production company focused on content that explores outsider perspectives and unheard voices, and has worked with Warp Films, Sky Arts and other organisations. From short films to features in development, Meer’s work reflects commitment to meaningful, collaborative filmmaking.
